Funding Priorities Within the framework of the YOUTH program, priority is given to EVS projects which:  target young people with less opportunities who otherwise would not have easy access to the Program,   introduce voluntary service activities as a new element to existing partnerships and/or create new partnerships between organizations/associations/structures active in the social, cultural, youth or environmental fields,   involve organizations which have not yet participated in EVS,   involve a new area of activity, or have innovative features,   support the development of local communities. In addition to the above priorities, individual countries may add national priorities, e.g. geographical balance within the country and area of activity.
